I tote around my own water bottle and my own coffee cup. I ride my bike to work. I wash ziplock baggies so I can reuse them over and over until they fall apart.

    I print double-sided.

I recycle!!! But it's not enough. I can do my part and if we all did our parts it would help, sure But we need more than that. Something bigger. Well, I'm not qualified to figure out ho Sometimes I think about the state of things in the world and I get depressed. Well, I'm not qualified to figure out how to fix all of it. But if you can get people laughing, you can get them interested.

And if enough people are interested, I believe that we can collectively come up with something that will really make a difference. This book might be a start. It did just that. Took something I'm depressed about and made me laugh. A lot. Yet, as tongue-in-cheek and full of silly fun as the book is, it also contains a lot of interesting ideas that even I would've never thought of and I recycle!!!

If you're looking for a way to find humor in a serious topic, give this book a shot. Or if you care about the environment and your friends constantly tease you for being a stinky hippie, give them copies. And if you or your friends don't like the book, you can always recycle it. Oct 13, Alicia rated it it was amazing. I really enjoyed it throughout the whole thing. It combined fun and learning so perfectly, I would not hesitate giving this book to younger kids so they understand certain concepts better like going green and economy and the connections between the two.
