You should still come to the shelter in person to verify your animal is not in the shelter. You can call and we will do our best to make the match if the animal is in the shelter but please make sure you check the shelter in person. Sometimes breeds and colors look different to different people. We suggest you check the shelter every three days or so also. You can fill out a report here and it will be sent directly to the shelter for our files.
We keep all reports on file for 30 days. Please fill out as much as possible on the report.
Lost & Found
There is a place in the report to add a picture of the animal. What do I have to bring with me when picking up an item I have identified? Which items fall under the jurisdiction of the lost property office at Munich Airport?

World of shopping Discover our shops. If your animal is at the shelter, you will be required to pay impound and board fees. If the animal does not have a current Coconino County license, you will also be required to purchase one.
Fees vary, depending on whether your animal is wearing a current license and how many days it may have been at the shelter. If your pet is not at High Country Humane, a staff person will assist you in checking our found reports. Be sure to bring a current photo of your pet to assist us with accuracy in breed and color s. Your donation enables us to continue caring for animals in need. If you are facing foreclosure or need to move for any reason, do not leave your pet behind or let them go into the streets.
What to do if You Lose or Find a Pet
Create flyers with a picture if available and brief description of your pet and include your contact information so the person who finds your pet can call you. Post the flyers around your neighborhood, at local stores, etc.

Go door-to-door in your neighborhood with the flyer and ask if your neighbors have seen your pet. Some neighbors may be willing to help you look.
